Gwendolyn Lopez will be joining the LUX as the new Education Director! Gwendolyn received her master's degree in Art History and Museum Studies from the University of Denver and has a bachelor's degree in Art from Nebraska Wesleyan University. Gwendolyn is currently a LUX Fellow and was previously the School Programs Associate at the Arvada Center for the Arts in Colorado where she supervised and trained teachers, interns, and volunteers for summer camps and field trips. While earning her degree in Denver, Gwendolyn also worked at the Denver Art Museum and at the Clyfford Still Museum.
Gwendolyn says, “I am very excited to bring my skills and past experiences to the LUX Center. I believe that art should be accessible to all and look forward to working on programming that creates a welcoming environment for everyone in our community!”
