United Way's Day of Caring is an event designed to promote community volunteerism. Over 300 volunteers helped various local organizations with projects such as painting, cleaning, landscaping, stocking pantries and more. With the help of 20+ volunteers, the LUX tackled the project of giving our old ceramics classrooms a little T.L.C. Our old kiln room, clay mixing room, resident studio, and classrooms were cleaned and given a fresh coat of paint. Thanks to the volunteers from Nelnet, Ameritas, Black Hills Energy, US Bank and Red Thread for your time and help freshening up our space!
