Youth Made with Clay

Your child can work with their hands and use their imagination while experimenting with clay in this fun camp that will introduce students to basic hand building techniques (slab buliding, coiling and pinching) they can use for the creation of sculptural and/or functional pottery. More experienced students can work with the instructor to explore their own ideas! Some examples of projects might include pots, boxes, plates or platters. The possibilities are endless! All clay, glazes, tools, and firing provided. No previous experience necessary. *Repeatable

This camp takes place in our Ceramics Center located in the building just west of the LUX parking lot.

Sign up for a full day of fun! Select the morning and afternoon camp of your choice then add Camp Care to your order. Lunch Care (noon-2pm) is only $45 for the whole week! Morning Care also available 8-9am for an additional $25 per week. You must pack a cold lunch if registering for Lunch Care. 

Please wear older clothes and shoes as they may get messy or stained. All projects are fired and ready about two weeks after the last class session.
